Following their defeat in the second ODI at Indore, South Africa batsman Faf du Plessis has admitted that his side have given India a little sniff and now they will look forward to play better cricket in the upcoming matches of the series.

The all-rounder said that his side is ready to go again with the same momentum in which they had won the three-match T20 series and first ODI against India.

The 31-year-old, who scored half century in the second ODI, said that he was disappointed with his performance and should have contributed with a big score, Sport24 reported.

Du Plessis, however, said that he would try his best to give a match-winning contribution to his team in the upcoming matches.

The two sides will now square-off in the third ODI at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot today.
