'We Will Rock You', which is based on the songs of Queen, is closing after a 12-year run.

The hit musical based on hits such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga and Another One Bites The Dust, which has toured the world and been seen by more than 18 million people, is set to close in the West End on 1 June 2014, the BBC reported.

The show, which was written by Ben Elton and currently stars Kevin Kennedy, is the longest-running production in the history of the Dominion Theatre, and had recently announced a 19-date US tour, with singer Adam Lambert taking the place of the late Freddie Mercury.
