Mehul Patel, an Indian-origin businessman in Davos, expressed confide that the platform of the World Economic Forum (WEF) will churn out possible solutions to economic issues facing the globe.
Elated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the Swiss town Davos, Patel underlined India has a strong presence at the global economic summit this time.
"It is possibly the only venue where all the world leaders, investors, entrepreneurs come together and discuss issues that companies and countries are facing. Lot of intellectual discussion take place at this platform and great outcomes are churned out of the same," he told ANI.
"There is a lot of excitement that Indian PM is coming here. Spoke to a lot of people from US and Europe who are excited that India has a strong presence in Davos this time," he added.
Prime Minister Modi will today leave for Davos to attend the 48th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Commerce and Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu among others.
