Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted that his side have overcome a 'mental block' against Chelsea by defeating the reigning Premier League champions to lift the Community Shield title last month.
Prior to the 1-0 win at Wembley, Arsenal had failed to win any of their eight previous encounters against the Stamford Bridge club since October 2011.
Wenger said that it was good to win the Community Shield as it helped them conquer their long-standing mental block against Chelsea, Sport24 reported.
Arsenal and Chelsea are set to renew their rivalry when they will clash against each other in their Premier League tie on Saturday.
Wenger also declined to give any comment on Chelsea's stuttering start in the ongoing season, stating that he is concerned with his team and his own problems.
