Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he would like to be with the club forever because it would mean that his immortal, on his 17th anniversary as team boss.
According to the Mirror, Wenger admitted he was 'honoured' by Gunners majority shareholder Stan Kroenke's strong message of support recently.
US sports mogul Kroenke made it clear he wants Wenger to stay beyond his current 7.5 mln-pound-a-year contrac,t which expires next summer and talks have begun about a new deal, the report said.
Wenger said that he would want to give his best to the club always and wants to focus on the quality of Arsenal's season, adding that he does not believe anybody can question his commitment to the club.
He said that he did not know how the 17 years had passed as his job had the advantage that one always looked forward to the next game without looking back.
Wenger said that he wants the Arsenal job even more now and he had turned down many offers because he thought this club was special.
