Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has said that their 6-0 loss to Chelsea was an 'accident' and no one can fault the team for 'not wanting to do well'.

Arsenal will reportedly try to make a comeback from their humiliating loss to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, which was also Wenger's 1000th game in charge at the club.

According to The Independent, Wenger said that their Chelsea defeat just meant that they have played about 40 games this season and it is not what happened last week against Chelsea that reflects the quality of his team.

The Arsenal boss also said that they have bagged 62 points this season until now which are hard earned and they would try to get back to that quality.

Arsenal face Swansea City in an upcoming match and they still have a game in hand against Chelsea following the club's humiliating defeat, which has dropped them to fourth position, seven points adrift leaders Chelsea, the report added.
