West Bengal: Live bomb explosion injures three policemen in Dinajpur (Update)

Three policemen were injured in a bomb blast in Itahar police station in West-Bengal's Dinajpur district on Sunday.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 11.30am in the morning in the police station. The blast injured a sub inspector named Poran Mandal, assistant sub inspector Dipankar Chakraborty and a civic volunteer named Monirul Islam, who were admitted to the Raijang District hospital.

"The crude bomb was kept in a store room inside the police station, we are investigating how the bombs came inside the police station," Sujit Ghosh, Deputy Superintendent of Police," Raijang said here.
