A wet outfield due to afternoon rain delayed the third and the final T20 match of the three-match series between India and South Africa here at the Eden Gardens on Thursday.
The match is the last opportunity for India to bounce back and gain some momentum after losing the three-match home T20 series against the tourists.
Meanwhile, the tourists will be determined to make a clean sweep to further stamp their authority on the Freedom Series.
Earlier, South Africa went on to win the second T20 match comfortably to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Faf du Plessis's side had won their first match by seven wickets at Dharamsala.
After the conclusion of the T20 series, both sides will also take on each other in five ODIs and the following a series of four Test matches.
