Along with praise from all over, Cricketer Virat Kohli is also being trolled on social media. But, this time when someone took a dig at the cricketer, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan stood up to support him.
English cricketer Andrew Flintoff took a dig at Kohli when he tweeted "At this rate, Virat Kohli will be as good as Joe Root," reports the Express Tribune.
Replying to his comment, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "@flintoff11 @imVkohli @root66 @englandcricket Root who ? ??? ?? ????? ????? Root ko ..!!!"
At that time Big B was unaware that he was speaking of cricketer Joe Root and 'uprooting' him if India were to face England in the WT20 finals.
The cricketer-turned-Twitter troll took a dig at Amitabh Bachchan, asking, "Sorry, who's this?" to which cricketer Ravindra Jadeja replied, "Beta @flintoff11, Rishtey Me To Wo Tumhare Baap Lagtey Hain, Naam Hai Shahenshaah. ;) @SrBachchan #IndvsAus."
Later, Ravindra Jadeja's parody Twitter account hit back with a screen shot of Flintoff's mere 1.8 million followers, compared to Bachchan's staggering 20 million and referenced Bachchan's famous line from his Bollywood movie 'Shehenshah.
