Meryl Streep is surely a good singer and is singing 12 cover songs in her upcoming movie 'Ricki and the Flash', but for her co-star and daughter Mamie Gummer,' her singing made her feel "irritated" as a kid.
The 32-year-old actress said in an interview that when she was a child, her star mother used to sing in the kitchen, on the stairwell, in the car, which she found irritating, but now singing in movies is part of her work and hence no one can stop her, News.com.au reported.
Streep has sung tracks from Bruce Springsteen to Lady Gaga alongside actor Rick Springfield in this musical drama flick.
Interestingly, she will also be singing in her upcoming film 'Florence Foster Jenkins', wherein she is playing the role of the late famously off-key American opera singer and socialite, opposite Hugh Grant.
