Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Tuesday challenged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to name their chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Bihar polls, adding that he would even drink poison to stop the latter.
"If I will have to drink poison to remove BJP, I can do so," said Lalu.
"If BJP has the guts, they should also declare their chief ministerial candidate. They don't have the guts to do so. We have named our CM candidate in front of everyone," he added.
On Monday, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav confirmed that Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar would be the Janata Parivar's chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.
Talking about seat-sharing for the Bihar polls, Nitish said that three members of the RJD and the JD (U) will meet and have a discussion on the same.
