Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Tuesday highlighted the development in the states ruled by his party and said that the NDA would form the next government in Bihar with a two-third majority.

Shah, who was addressing a rally at Nokha, Sasaram, said he is confident that Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would submit his resignation to the Governor on October 8 when the results are announced.

"The nation has changed a lot in the last 25 years. Several villages have been electrified. Do you get 24 hours power in villages here? Do you have access to hospitals in every village? Do you have access to education? You must go to the BJP ruled states and see these," he added.

He further said that BJP is committed towards development.

"Wherever there is a BJP government, the development has reached farmers, backwards, Dalits and Mahadalits," he said.

Shah also urged the electorate to vote for Rameshwar Chaurasia, the BJP's candidate from the region.
