Will Smith wouldn't be featuring in the upcoming sequel of 'Independence Day', it has been revealed.
The 'Men in Black' actor has reportedly informed the studio that he won't be joining in on the sequel, Deadline.com reported.
The director Roland Emmerich and co-writer and producer Dean Devlin of the 1996 hit film have created two distinctly different versions of the film, as Vanderbilt has been working on two separate scripts.
Smith, who next stars with Margot Robbie in the upcoming Warner Bros's film 'Focus', will not be reprising his role as Jay in the next 'Men In Black'.
