A new survey has revealed that British women prefer their men to tower above them by five inches just like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The new study by the adult intimate retailer 'Lovehoney' has asserted that stature of a potential partner is more important to women than it is to men, Daily Star reported.
At 6ft 3in, Prince William is exactly five inches taller than his 5ft 10in wife Catherine which makes them the perfect height match. Other celebrity couples that come close include Brad Pitt (5ft 11in) and Angelina Jolie (5ft 7in) and Daniel Craig (5ft 10in) and Rachel Weisz (5ft 6in).
A spokesperson said that the long and short of it is that size does matter to a lot of couples but not when it comes to sexual chemistry.
But despite the demand for towering men, 83 percent of women said that they were happy with their partner's height and just 14 percent wanted their man to be taller.
Only 24 percent of women said that height was irrelevant when one is looking for a partner as compared to 35 percent of men.
One in 10 said that matching heights was ideal like Jason Statham and his lover Rosie HuntingtonWhiteley, who are both 5ft 9in.
