Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has backed club boss Arsene Wenger by hinting he could quit the Gunners side if the manager leaves the club.
According to metro.co.uk, Wenger has come under scrutiny in recent months for his lack of spending and an eight-year trophy drought, with large sections of the Gunners fan-base calling for his departure.
However, Wilshere has hit back at supporters, insisting those who question the Frenchman's managerial skills are 'ridiculous,' the report said.
He said that Wenger had been there for many years and he had always delivered trophies.
Wilshere is regarded as an important part of the Gunners' spine heading into the future, the report added.
