Defending champion Andy Murray has joked that his family has deserted him on Centre Court in order to support his big brother Jamie, who is playing in the men's doubles at Wimbledon.
Murray was watched by girlfriend Kim Sears during his victory over Spain's Roberto Bautista Agut, but the champions mother Judy was at Court Two watching her eldest son Jamie and his Aussie playing partner John Peers as they won in the men's doubles.
According to the Mirror, after he defeated Bautista Agut to reach the last 16 of the men's singles at Wimbledon, Murray said that it is a shame that he and his brother were on at the same time.
The Scot said that none of his family came to watch him so he is always the number two son.
On learning that his mother did make it back to see the end of his match, Murray said that his big brother is the priority, adding that Jamie is the number one son and he has always had the preference.
