Argentina tennis star Juan Martin del Potro announced his return to form in Grand Slams by knocking out fourth seed Stan Wawrinka in the second round of the Wimbledon on Friday.
Del Potro, the 2009 US Open champion, produced a resilient performance as he defeated Wawrinka 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7/2), 6-3 and will next face either Frenchman Lucas Pouille or Donald Young of the United States in the third round at the All England Club.
Reflecting on his performance, an elated del Potro said he felt alive again with his sensational win, adding that 'this feels like a second or third career', Sport24 reported.
The Argentine star, who missed more than two years of professional tennis due to wrist injuries, is playing in first major since the 2014 Australian Open.
