West Indies women's cricket team produced yet another spirited performance as they defeated India in the second T20 to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series at the Dr. Gokaraju Liala Gangaaraju ACA Cricket Ground here in Mulapadu on Sunday.

Chasing a target of 138, the Indian eves were bundled out for 106 in 18.1 overs.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side, having limited West Indies to 137, suffered from an early batting slump and their innings eventually folded with the loss of six wickets for 33 runs.

The Indian skipper was the top scorer with 43 runs to her name. Other than her, only two other Indian batsmen could score more than 15 runs.

For West Indies, Anisa Mohammed and Deandra Dottin were the pick of the bowlers as they took three wickets each.

Earlier put in to bat first, West Indies skipper Stafanie Taylor's unbeaten 47 anchored the innings and they eventually reached a respectable score of 137.

The two sides will now lock horns in the inconsequential third and final match on Tuesday.
