Microsoft has revealed a new Windows 10 feature called Continuum that allows smartphones running Microsoft's latest OS to transform into desktop PCs when connected to larger screens.
According to the Verge, Continuum also helps ease the transition for users switching between tablet and PC modes.
Samsung is giving developers tools to create software that runs across PCs, tablets, convertibles, smartphones, and Xbox.
Microsoft's Joe Belfiore showed apps like Excel and Photos running on the desktop view with the Windows 10 smartphone hooked up to a monitor.
