The fans have extended their wishes to the Indian cricket team ahead of their much-awaited World T20 clash against fierce-rivals Pakistan at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata today.

Admitting that it would not be easy to beat Pakistan, one of the viewers from Thiruvananthapuram said that the top three of the batting line-up would have a major role to play in today's clash.

"It is obviously going to be a tough match. Everyone is looking forward to this match in the tournament. It's obviously going to be Pakistan's bowling versus India's batting. India's top three is going to play crucial role. How India tackle Mohammad Amir will be a key factor in the game? It's going to be a good game today. We are backing India to win. When it comes to (Pakistan's) batting, we should make sure that we get early wickets. How Indian spinners play in the middle overs that will be the crucial factor?" he said.

Mohammad Sabir, a resident of Chennai, said that Pakistan had never won in the World T20 against India and added that they would not able to claim victory this time as well.

"India and Pakistan, it is a big match. So, we are very eager to watch this match. Of course not only me, but a large number of people in India are keen to see the match. It is a very tough match. It does not matter who will win but we will get good entertainment," Vivek, another Indian cricket enthusiast, insisted.

Urging his countrymen to back India to achieve victory, Narender Kumar from Delhi said that Dhoni's side should head into the crucial match with much more spirit.

"We are preparing to enjoy the match between India and Pakistan. People should support India so that they can win. We should try to boost their morale. Although we have lost our first match against New Zealand, we will still win this game. India should now head into the next match with much more spirit and should claim victory. India have never been beaten by Pakistan in the World Cup. So, they would surely win this time as well," he told ANI.

"Pakistan will fight today in India. Openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma have to bat well today and should keep the respect of the country. India have to win the match in order to move forward in the tournament," added another spectator from Delhi.

Today's much-awaited clash has been shifted to Kolkata from Dharamsala due to safety concerns.

Earlier on Tuesday, India suffered a humiliating 47-run win against New Zealand in their tournament opener at the Vidarbha Cricket Stadium in Nagpur.
