An illustrator has come up with a comic that deals with the coming of age experience, and the constant commentary that women receive about their body parts.
Ruminating on her experience led illustrator Colleen Clark to think about relationships of women with their breasts as a whole, especially during adolescence.
She has previously said that she wants her comics to showcase experiences that are going to feel familiar to female readers, the Huffington Post reported.
Clark told body image blog Jug Report that it has become her goal to make comics and illustrations that women can relate to and she believes that comics need more depictions of realistic, relatable women.
