Women above 26 may not become next Taylor Swift, Rihanna

A new study has revealed that women, who are above the age of 26, will probably never make it as a pop star.

Alice Zhao, the lead researcher analyzed that in pop music age was more than just a number, the Independent reported.

The research showed that ff the 15 women with number one singles in America within the past six years the majority were 20-23 years old when they had their first top single.

According to the study, , Taylor Swift and Rihanna are number one in the US and since 2006 Swift has had 67 songs in America's list of top 100 songs, while Rihanna has had 13 number one singles in a year which is the same as Michael Jackson.
