A new study has revealed that women find themselves the most stylish at the age of 33.

The poll conducted on 2,000 adults by Marks and Spencer, found that women are most confident and content with the way they dress when they are 33-years-old, Stuff.co.nz reported.

According to the study, "feeling stylish" equates to "feeling comfortable with one's personal style", thus 33-year-old women, who are educated, moneyed and mature enough to make smart sartorial decisions, have come out on top.

The poll also showed that 33 percent of people surveyed, blamed the fashion blunders of their 20's, on chasing trends without giving much thought to them first.

The study also found that 24 is the trickiest age for coming to terms with someone's personal style.
