Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwanska and Chinese ace Li Na have reportedly reached the third round in the US Open in the women's category.
According to Sport24, Radwanska, promoted to third seed after the injury-forced withdrawal of Russian ace Maria Sharapova, defeated Spanish player Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor 6-0, 7-5 to move into the third round.
The report further said that Chinese fifth seed Li Na moved into the third round by beating 100th-ranked Swede Sofia Arvidsson 6-2, 6-2.
The report further said that Radwanska, who has never got beyond the fourth round in the Flushing Meadows, would clash against Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in the third round, while Li Na will next face either Brit Laura Robson, who knocked her out of the tournament in 2012, or Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia.
