Scores of topless women took to the streets in an estimated 30 cities, from Cartagena in Colombia to NYC, to celebrate the fourth anniversary of 'Go Topless' day.
The day also coincided with the date women in the US gained the right to vote, the New York Daily News reported.
One bare-chested participant asked if guys could take off their shirts in hot weather than why can't women, adding that all the people are just skin and bones.
Another reveler said that even though she proudly supports the movement which is legal in NY, it's still not easy for her to go without a shirt.
Other revelers uniformly chanted, "Free your breasts, free your mind!"
Both women and men participated in the event to display physical equality.
