Woody Allen has admitted that big-budget box office movies fail to impress him as they are "childish products."
During an interview with Madame Figaro Magazine, when the veteran filmmaker was asked what blockbusters meant to him, Allen simply said, "Mediocrity," Contactmusic reported.
The 'Midnight in Paris' director asserted that such big budget films have no artistic merit and are only made to rake in profits.
Allen added that he hopes that only refined and intellectually-minded people will see his films, and he doesn't need the people who go see blockbusters.
