Merit and efficiency have made Indian women excel in whatever profession they choose for themselves. Nevertheless, financial returns along with work-life balance is the only way for the women workforce in the market to swell that is the future, emphasized the LLOYD-SHEROES Summit.
The meet was part of the fourth edition of the tri-city summit on 'Work Life Bank Balance' organized by SHEROES, the largest online career platform for women, in association with Paytm and Monster.
This year's SHEROES Summit in partnership with Lloyd Electric and Engineering is focusing on the core belief of the company connecting women with economic opportunities and work-life redesign; to meet one's individual needs and tap into the #FutureOfWork.
"The SHEROES summit is a place to explore aspirations and fulfill ambitions. With a progressive legacy business such as the Lloyd Group joined us for the Summit, is a matter of pride for us. As the Summit emphasizes, work-life balance along with financial access is a necessity in the changing workplace," said Founder and CEO SHEROES.in, Sairee Chahal.
"It also highlights the importance of learning and unlearning and doing things which one likes. It is in fact a pointer to the need of professionals and entrepreneurs particularly women to be holistic in their approach," added Chahal.
"Lloyd is very proud and privileged of this association with SHEROES. When I was first approached I wanted to discover the meaning of SHEROES. Someone said, 'She Heroes'. So SHEROES creates she heroes, celebrates them. We want to add on and help SHEROES in doing that. We will continue to work with SHEROES for events such as this to help bridge gender disparity at workplaces," said Anita Kakar of the Lloyd Group.
Apart from evaluating and discussing on the prospects of career for women, the event comprised a therapeutic dance session, underlining the significance of keeping the mind and body balanced and stress free. The dance session was led by Ranjani Santhaman, Founder and Designated partner Palindrome Concepts and Solutions LLP.
