Working with different musicians is like collaborating with new energies, says Amit Trivedi

Music composer and singer Amit Trivedi recently mesmerized Gurgaon's audience with his soulful compositions and versatile singing at the Royal Stag MTV Unplugged Season 4 India Tour.

Commenting on the latest season of the Royal Stag MTV Unplugged, Raja Banerji, Assistant Vice President (Marketing), Pernod RicardIndia, said "Royal Stag MTV Unplugged has made an indelible mark on the music scene in India in a very short span of time and there really is no better place than here, to enjoy powerful, uninhibited music."

The 'Dev D' music director, who performed his various hit singles from Bollywood movies at the event, spoke exclusively to ANI about his association with Royal Stag MTV Unplugged.

 

The 35-year-old music composer said, "My association with MTV has always been beautiful. We have done Coke Studio before and Unplugged is another property of the channel that I am attached with and whenever we meet and decide to do something together, it turns out be beautiful and it reflects in our work".

Whilst talking about collaborating with different people on MTV Unplugged and MTV Coke Studio, the National Award winner said that it is always fun working with different musicians and artists and it is like collaborating with new energies.

Trivedi, who has given memorable music in movies namely 'Dev D', 'Queen', 'Aamir', and 'Wake Up Sid' among others, mentioned about the event, saying that, "It is always the energy of the people that one plays for and the vibe that I get from the crowd after stepping on stage is what determines the entire show for me."

Trivedi's upcoming projects in Bollywood include Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet', 'Fitoor', and 'Shaandar' which is made under the banner of Dharma and Phantom Productions.

The 13 city tour that kickstarted in Goa in December 2014, will also be covering other cities in the country with different talented artists.
