Indian Archer Rajat Chauhan gave a remarkable performance on Saturday as he managed to secure the first-ever individual silver medal for India, in the World Archery Championship 2015 at Copenhagen in Denmark.

Stephan Hansen gained a three-point lead, after Chauhan shot a poor 8 and 9 which resulted in wrapping up the game at 147-143 in an individual men's compound final.

The women's trio comprising Deepika Kumari, Laxmi Rani Majhi and Rimil Buriuly would now hunt for the Gold medal against Russia.

However, Laxmi Rani will also compete with Misun Choi of Korea in the bronze medal clash today.
