Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Saturday said the credibility of the Indian economy has been re-established and the world is predicting that it's India's time to fly as he presented the Union Budget for fiscal 2015-16 in the Parliament.
"The credibility of the Indian economy has been restablished, the World is predicting that it's India's chance to fly. As the PM has mentioned many times - We are a round the clock, round the year Government," Jaitley said while presenting the Budget.
"The rupee has become stronger by 6.4 percent. Domestic and international investors are seeing us with renewed hope. With all humility, I submit that this opportunity has risen because we have created it," he added.
"The three achievements of my government have been - Prime Minister's Jan Dhan Yojana, transparent auctions and Swachh Bharat. Swachh Bharat which we have been able to introduce to create a rejuvenated India," said the Finance Minister.
"50 lakh toilets have already been constructed, we will achieve target of building six crore toilets," he added.
