World's 'dirtiest hotel' up for sale for $170 mln

The hotel which has been named world's dirtiest hotel three times is now up for sale at 170 million dollars.

Hotel Carter, in New York City, which had been considered to be infested with cockroaches, bedbugs, terrible smells, has 600 rooms and was owned by Vietnamese migrant Tran Dinh Truong from 1977 until his death in 2012, News.com.au reported.

Two dead bodies were also found in the rooms in the past and the hotel had 15 outstanding building code violations.

Hotel Carter is located in Times Square, which was once known for seedy adult cinemas and bars.
