Researchers have revealed that 'Yeah' is one of the words which when said frequently during meetings, increases the likelihood that co-workers would approve of your suggestion.
Saying the four-letter word may help persuade others to accept your proposal, the New York Daily News reported.
Researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management examined conversations from 95 meetings and other particularly persuasive key words, including "give," "start," "menu" and "touch."
They found that saying "meeting" during meetings may actually work to your advantage if it is used in a suggestion about not discussing something.
The study also suggested some of the most non-persuasive words, which included "speech," "recognition," "flat," "fair" and "bottom.
