Uttar Pradesh(UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath slammed both the Samajwadi Party(SP) and the Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP), who have decided to form a grand alliance to take on the BJP in the state, for the upcoming Lok Sabha by-poll in Phulphur, scheduled on March 11.

This grand alliance is along the lines of 'mahagatbandhan' in Bihar.

Calling the SP and BSP "unnatural allies", the Chief Minister said, "Today we are hearing that an alliance is being formed between the SP and the BSP".

"This alliance between the two is like an alliance between a snake and a shrew" he added.

Yogi Adityanath, during a rally in Gorakhpur, further said, "This alliance just goes to show the pitiable situation the two parties have reached. Their coming together shows their nervousness before a big storm that is coming their way".
