Yogi government transfers 36 IPS officers

Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government on Sunday transferred 36 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

According to a government release, Unnao Superintendent of Police (SP) Pushpanjali Devi is prominent among the transferred IPS officers who have been now attached to the UP Director General of Police (DGP).

Unnao hit the headlines over the alleged rape of a girl by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar.

The others who have been transferred are: Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Ajay Kumar Sahni, Manjil Saini, Ram Lal Verma, Shivashimpi Chanapa, Krishna Bahadur Singh, Muniraj G, Harish Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Vijay Dhul, Rahul Yadvendra, Manoj Kumar, Sabharaj, Jugal Kishore, Rajesh Kumar, Pramod Kumar, Ajay Shankar Rai, Rajesh S, Balendu Bhushan Singh, Kalanidhi Naithani, Jogendra Kumar, Sankalp Sharma, Hemant Kutiyal, Himanshu Kumar, Mohit Gupta, Sanjay Kumar, Upendra Kumar Agarwal, Ravi Shankar Chavi, R.M. Bhardwaj, Subhash Singh Baghel, Umesh Kumar Shrivastava, Rakesh Shankar, Jitendra Kumar Shukla, Ravina Tyagi, and Pooja Yadav.
