John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono said that no one is probably going to believe but Ringo Starr was the most influential Beatle in the band.

Ono, who also expressed her delight that Starr was joining his fellow Fab Four members in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame, said that for some reason Lennon got it, then George Harrison got it, then Paul McCartney got it and, therefore, there was no doubt why Starr should not get it, Stuff.co.nz reported.

The 82-year-old singer said that Starr had the nicest personality out of the Beatles.

Starr was the last of the Beatles to be inducted for his solo work, even though he had scored the first post-Beatles solo hits.
