A new study has revealed that the length of a man's fingers can predict how well he gets on with women.

The study conducted at McGill University explained that men whose index fingers were close to the length of their ring fingers, were found to have more harmonious relationships with women and they have a happy relationship if the ration between second finger and ring finger is less, the Daily Express reported.

Researchers included the "digit ratio" called 2D:4D which was linked to sex hormones and is measured from the crease where the digit joins the hand to the finger tip.

Study done by experts concluded that a longer ring finger shows more exposure to testosterone in the womb.

Professor Debbie Moskowitz, who led the study, said that when with women, men with smaller 2D:4D ratios were more likely to engage in behaviors such as listening attentively, smiling, compromising, expressing reassurance and complimenting the other person.

The research found that men with smaller 2D:4D ratios also have more children whereas varied 2D:4D ratios of women showed no significant effect on their behavior.
