Younger women, who lead more varied and exciting lives than their moms, still consider having a baby a priority, according to a study.

The study of 1,000 women in the age group of 25 to 40 found that the largest proportion (68 per cent) said having a baby was their greatest priority in lives, the Daily Express reported.

The research by skin care firm Olay Total Effects also found that this was followed by getting married (54 per cent) and buying a house (51 per cent).

Most women also go to sleep without removing their make-up almost four times every month - and get up before 6am six times a month.

34.8 per cent women considered that their appearance had remained more or less the same over the past 12 years.
