US-headquartered YuppTV has introduced YuppTV Bazaar, a platform for curated premium video content for education, short films, web series and trailers.
Speaking on the launch of YuppTV Bazaar yesterday here, actor Abhishek Bachchan said the future of entertainment is in the internet and the YuppTV Bazaar will ensure streaming quality, accuracy with click of a button.
"The future of entertainment is in internet, it's digital. The days are not far ahead when the full length feature films will be premiered directly on the internet. The accountancy and the quality is already assured. With YuppTV in market, you are assured of a definite streaming quality, accuracy. When you have this with a touch of a button, why would you look elsewhere," Bachchan said.
"The function of the entertainment is to provide entertainment and get it to the end user. By platforms like YuppTV, you are getting an opportunity to show my film directly to the audience and I can also see the analytical quality of the viewers which is not available in the film industry," he added.
YuppTV globally has 5 million mobile app downloads and an audience base reaching over 400 million households through smart TVs.
