Mohammad Zaka Ashraf, the reinstated chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board has divulged that no former convicted cricketer would be provided with a job in the board.

Ashraf claimed that no tainted cricketer would be welcomed to join the PCB unlike his predecessor Najam Sethi, who was criticised for recruiting former offenders.

According to The Dawn, the newly elected PCB chairman praised the verdict of the Islamabad High Court after two decisions were given in his favour.

He asserted that Pakistan's future was safe after obeying the court's orders and he would work with good intentions, as he believes success cannot be earned by fraudulence and lies.

Ashraf also threw Misbah-ul-Haq's future as captain at the World cup next year in jeopardy adding that all players must prove their fitness to qualify.
