Zero infiltration on Pak border controlled by BSF since 2016

The Border Security Force (BSF) has asserted that there has been zero infiltration on Pakistan border which is controlled by the BSF since January 2016.

"Our force is known for its training and discipline, coming generations should learn the same from the BSF. There has been zero infiltration on Pakistan border which is controlled by the BSF since January 2016. We are going to implement comprehensive integrated border management in which two pilot projects of which have already begun in Jammu," BSF DG K K Sharma told the media.

He also praised his BSF team for their immeasurable efforts and hardwork on the borders.

 

Addressing the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort on the occasion of India's 71st Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated government's resolve to fight against terrorism.

Sending a strong message against terrorism, Prime Minister Modi said there is no question of being soft on terrorists and terrorism will be dealt with iron fist.

The Prime Minister said India is fighting the menace of terrorism jointly with the global community.

The main Independence Day function was held at the Red Fort of the national capital where Prime Minister Modi hoisted the National Flag.

The unfurling of the tri-colour was synchronized with the 21 Gun Salute fired by the valiant gunners of the elite 2281 Field Regiment (Ceremonial).
