Zimbabwe's cricket board has reportedly turned down the invitation for a one-off Test against South Africa following player strike and crippling financial difficulties.
Zimbabwe Cricket spokesman Lovemore Banda said that the Zimbabweans weren't able to accept the offer and would instead play two Tests and a limited-overs series against South Africa sometime around August.
According to Sport24, Zimbabwe's players have been on strike since last year over unpaid wages and bonuses and the board also had to cancel tours by Sri Lanka and Afghanistan.
Following a 5-0 Ashes drubbing of England, Australia's Test squad arrives in South Africa on Wednesday for a three-match series, the report added.
