Audi India has officially announced that they will be launching the next-gen 2015 Audi TT in the country on 23rd of April. This third generation TT was revealed at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show and is already on sale globally. TT was also caught completely undisguised testing on the Indian soil plenty of times last year.
The 3rd generation of TT is based on the VW's versatile MQB platform and is nearly 50 kg lighter than its predecessor and packs all the latest gizmo's. Speaking of the design, at the outset, the vehicle has retained the essence of classic TT cues but it gets a dose of masculinity and edginess. Also, the new R8 resembles it from the face. It receives the Audi’s Matrix LED lighting system that is on offer in the A8 at present in India.
The 2015 coupe will get new interiors highlighted by a state-of-the-art 12.3 inch digital Nvidia Tegra 30 GPU powered instrumentation cluster! There are also jet turbine blade inspired AC louvers with digital display, powerful Bang and Olufsen 12 speaker and a new multifunction bottom flat steering wheel.
