BMW India Introduces X1 M Sport at a Price tag of Rs 39.7 lacs

BMW has launched the X1 sDrive20d M Sport in India at Rs 37.9 lacs, ex-showroom New Delhi. The silent launch came with the introduction of a single variant that will be the only option from now on. Speaking of the car, there aren't much change from what we have seen on the X1 till now. The X1 competes against the likes of Audi Q3 and Volvo V40 Cross country.

As far as alterations are concerned, the new car gets an angrier bumper setup than before and is available with two colors namely- Le Mans Blue and Alpine White.

 

On the inside, it gets leather-wrapped M steering wheel, contrast stitching on the upholstery and a few other changes.

This luxury compact SUV is powered by a 2.0 litre inline four-cylinder BMW TwinPower turbo diesel motor. It is capable of producing 184 PS of power and a healthy torque of 380 Nm, while all this is channelled to the rear wheels via an 8-speed Steptronic transmission. Also, this update is pegged as the last update to the current generation of the X1 and will be replaced by the next-gen car in 2016.
