The American manufacturer has been on a launch streak in the country. Let me refresh your memory of past five months -- Ford has brought out 3 new products and one facelift. The Figo Aspire, next-gen Figo, EcoSport facelift and the all new Endeavour. Buyers too, have accepted these products for their quality, price, performance and this is expected to grow, keeping Ford’s aggressive plan for 2016 in mind. Visiting them at the Indian Auto Expo 2016 will be different experience altogether, because of the following cars.
The Mustang GT
The pony was unveiled a few days ago, but the enthusiasm was as good as one which can be seen at a launch event. The car will be parked at Ford’s pavilion in the expo arena, alongside other existing and new cars that the company plans to bring in. The Mustang will be launched in GT guise with the performance pack as a standard feature, unlike the American or European markets, where it comes as optional extra. Underneath that long scooped hood of Mustang is the 5.0-litre Coyote V8, that would be good for 420 bhp of power and 529 Nm of torque.
The Edge

Ford Edge is a very sporty SUV and has bold design scheme. Its exteriors are marked by straight shoulder and other character lines. The front end gets Ford’s signature hexagonal grille, but is more edgy as well as sturdy and continues into sleek the headlamps. The interiors of this SUV are unmistakably Ford, but one can expect escalated levels of quality compared to EcoSport, which is not bad either. This car falls in the category of Hyundai Tucson
The Mondeo
The executive sedan which used to come earlier in India, is expected to appear in its latest avatar. It is based on Ford 2016 design ideology and looks very sporty, just like any other car from the manufacturer. The 2016 Mondeo comes with a plethora of features overseas, so the car is expected to retain the same in India as well. However, there is no clear date or month from the manufacturer about the launch of the car.
The Kuga
Kuga is Ford’s another compact SUV that lies above over 4-meter constraint, unlike the EcoSport. However, Kuga still carries a separate identity from its siblings, as it gets a sleeker hexagonal grille, unlike the other bossy grilles in Ford's SUV. It sits in Hyundai Creta’s category and will be its direct competitor, if launched.
