Ford India to Open Bookings for Figo Aspire from July 27, 2015

The wait is finally over for all the Ford lovers! The new compact sedan Figo Aspire from the Blue Oval company will be booked with an upfront payment of Rs 30,000 from 27th July, 2015. The Swift DZire competitor will come with standard driver and passenger airbags while the top variant will be getting six airbags for that extra piece of safety.

In feature list, Figo Aspire will be loaded with advanced connectivity solutions, including segment-first MyFord Dock or SYNC with Ford AppLink along with the innovative Ford MyKey. The company will launch this compact sedan in the month of August in 4 trim levels - Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+.

 

Commenting on Ford India’s first sub-four meter sedan Anurag Mehrotra, Executive Director, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford India said, “Created specifically for customers in India, the Figo Aspire is a no-compromise compact sedan that will delight Indian customers with its stunning design, smart technology, advanced safety and impressive fuel efficiency.”

Figo Aspire will be offered in both the fuel trims with diesel model getting 1.5-liter TDCi engine giving an output of 100PS. The petrol variants on the other hand, will house 1.2-liter Ti-VCT engine good enough for the power of 88PS. Both of these engines are paired to a responsive five-speed manual transmission. The diesel Figo Aspire will return a fuel economy of 25.8kmpl and petrol model 18.2kmpl.

There is also six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission variant available which gets powerful 1.5L TiVCT petrol engine, giving power of 112 PS and a fuel economy of 17.2kmpl.
