If you ever thought that BMW M6 Gran Coupe wasn't brutal enough, then look at this new performance-package from the German car tuner G-Power, which made this Bimmer even more powerful.
Equipped with G-Power's Bi-Tronik 5th generation package, the output of the coupe has been up-rated by hefty 180 bhp and 295 nm. From a stock 570 bhp, the coupe now delivers a massive 740 bhp at 6,000 -7,000 rpm, while the increased peak torque stands at 975 Nm at 4,800 rpm. With this increment in power figures, the re-tuned M6 Gran Coupe sprints 0-200 km/h in only 10.5 seconds, and has a top whack of 300 km/h.
For achieving these power specs, the German tuner has re-maped the M6's original ECU. The exhaust system has also been substantially reworked as well to provide for an output optimized back pressure. The replaced titanium exhaust system is 12 kgs. Lighter, as-well-as provides a 'deep throaty sound.' Apart from mechanical modifications, the G-Power has also installed 21-inch Hurricane RR forged wheel set wrapped around in Michelin 255/30 ZR21 front & 295/25 ZR21 rear tyres. In terms of suspension setting, tuner has also intsalled an adjustable coilover suspension featuring nine selectable settings. The standard front brakes has been replaced with 420mm discs with six-piston calipers and at an additional cost a carbon version is offered which reduces unsprung mass by 50 percent.
