At the night of Oscars, when everybody was busy watching stars of Hollywood, General Motors "Dare Greatly" to air its new advertisement during the telecast of 2015 Academy Awards. In the sixty-second stint, the 2016 Cadillac CT6 flagship saloon looked more dynamic and elegant than the CTS. The all new CT6 is set to reveal on March 31 and will make its public debut at the 2015 New York Motor Show.

The video starts with the song- Non, Je ne regrette rien by Edith Piaf (The Inception’s Wake-up Kick Song) featuring Jason Wu with captions of how dare a fashion intern become an arbiter of style. The video also features Apple’s Steve Wozniak with the subtitle how dare a college dropout invent a personal computer. The video ends with the saying how dare a 112 year old carmaker reinvent itself. Only those who dare, drive the world forward. Cadillac, Dare Greatly.

Dimension wise, the new CT6 is larger in both length and width. The front gets uniquely designed headlamps integrated skillfully with the extended DRLs. While inside the cabin, the saloon will feature “streaming video mirror” with a 1280 by 240 pixel TFT-LCD display which is said to improve the field of vision by about 300 percent.

Powering the new CT6 is speculated to be the potent 3.6-liter turbocharged V6 or the 4.5-litre V8 engine. If the car houses the V6 engine, it will approximately churn 420 horses of power with 583 Nm of torque and figures will significantly be more, if the V8 engine is used.

Moreover, the car will be build at the Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly plant in Michigan where Cadillac is investing $300 million. Slated to be launched by the end of 2015, the CT6 lock horns with Mercedes-Benz S-class, BMW 7-series and Audi A8.
