Creta is based on Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 (FS 2.0) Design philosophy, looks like a baby Santa-Fe!
Hyundai Motor India has revealed the official sketches of the upcoming compact SUV - Creta. The car will make its global debut in India next month on 21st and it is based on the China-exclusive - ix25. Earlier, Hyundai was launching it around mid-2015 but as its arch rival Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is coming in July, Hyundai has advanced the launch of Creta!
It looks like all the latest Hyundais, like the new Elite i20, Santa-Fe and others, courtesy to the Korean automaker’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 (FS 2.0) Design philosophy. At the outset, you get the hexagonal three-slat grille flanked around by sharper looking headlamps, it will offer projector headlamps with DRLs. There is an all-around body cladding and it offer diamond cut alloys like the rest of the Hyundais in the country.

The interiors are dual tone just like the Elite i20 and expect similar features like in the Verna & Elite i20. In China, it gets multiple dashboard pallet color options, there’s a possibility that Hyundai might offer it in India similar to that of the Active i20. In the official design, Hyundai has revealed a non-touch screen audio unit but the vehicle is expected to feature one. Moreover, the steering wheel is new compared to its clan in India but is somewhat similar to that of the Verna. Apart from this, there are plenty of storage spaces including two cup holders around the handbrake lever while there will be rear AC vents as well.
