The rugged butch C-SUV, Tucson, has been revealed for the model year 2015. Only for the European market for now, fingers crossed hope that it makes it to the Indian shores as everybody loved it here. The new Tucson has been given a complete redesign both inside and out.
The design is now more premium looking than before and features more equipment onboard. The range of petrol and diesel engines will be available, with the diesels expected in India. The front gets new LED headlamps and a sporty slick looking face, somewhat borrowed from the big brother, Santa Fe.
At the back, the tail lights have grown thinner and sleeker exuding a sporty yet go-anywhere appeal. With firstly design being a priority for this new model, Peter Schreyer, President and Chief Design Officer, Hyundai Motor Group commented, “Design expresses our progressive spirit and passion, and it is transforming our brand. The All-New Tucson has a bold and athletic presence achieved through refined, flowing surfaces, bold proportions, sharp lines and most importantly, our newest generation hexagonal grille – our brand signature”.
