Lamborghini, the sports carmaker witnessed an increase in its worldwide sales for the fourth consecutive year. The automaker sold a total of 2,530 units in 2014 compared to 2,121 units in 2013, thereby registering a positive growth of 19 percent.
In the same year, the Sant’Agata Bolognese based manufacturer introduced its new sports car Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4 which has received more than 3,300 orders. With 130 dealers serving in 48 countries, the Italian performance carmaker retailed 1,128 units of twelve cylinder model Aventador LP 700-4 in both, Coupé and Roadster versions. The sales of Aventador witnessed a growth of 13 per cent as in 2013, the company managed to retail 1,001 units.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A said, ‘‘In 2014, Lamborghini delivered a very satisfying performance, confirming again the strength of our brand, product and commercial strategy.”
Lamborghini is a global brand and sales distribution and well-balanced among the three regions EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), America and Asia Pacific, which counts approximately for one third of global sales each.

Mr Winkelmann further added, ‘‘We increased sales in all our major regions. Our biggest markets are the USA and Greater China. They are followed by the Middle East, UK, Japan and Germany which each registered significant growth in 2014.’’
Lamborghini Gallardo, with a total of 14,022 units is by far the most-built Lamborghini ever. While following the same path, Huracan since its inception in mid 2014, has managed to clock 1,137 units and is looking strong with pre bookings of 3300 units.
